Where does my run fit in?

By: Dawn

This summer was crazy, a months worth of church trips, hot weather and then starting a new job... my runs seemed to be few and far between! I thought once school started it would get a little easier, well I was wrong! This new job is not good for my running life. On top of all schedule changes I've decided to train with the rest of the girls and my husband for St. Jude!! Where is my run going to fit in? Uuuggh!

Well this is where I am...any time and any way I can! It may be a morning run, early morning, if I'm not driving car pool or like tonight a run with my man (actually my favorite runs) after the sun goes down! Long runs on the weekend (Saturday and Sunday) Or maybe a quick run in the morning and one at night? I'm telling you all, any time and any way I can!?!

I'm not an indoor runner so I'm just trying to be creative! If any of you can share with me how you mange to get your runs in please share! Would love to hear how creative you are!

Happy Running...whenever you can:)

  1. Since Wednesday night church classes have started back for my daughter and her class starts at 6:15, I miss the 6pm Breakaway run. So now, I drop her at class, change clothes and run the lot at church. So, if any ladies want to swing by Bellevue on Wednesday at 6:30-7. You will find me at the very back of the church, running the parking lot.

  2. Now that my oldest has started school I find some days the only way to get the run in is to wake up really early and do it on the dreaded treadmill. I try to watch something on my iPad to make the time pass more quickly!

    1. That's a great idea Kristen. On days when I am forced inside for the treadmill run I usually look up what shows will be on and hope to find a good show or movie to keep me interested.
