Fashion Friday: Swirlgear

We couldn't agree more!

Strength. Style. Spirit.

Swirlgear is based out of Chicago, and was started in 2007 by a lady named Lacey in her desire to create gear for women that is both functional and fashionable. The goal was to create running gear for women that fits well, looks great and fulfills the needs of women runners. And she did!

We all have the same thing in common, trying to balance family, crazy schedules and career, and also get our runs in. The deigner of Swirgear also knows that no matter how busy they are, women care about how they present themselves. "I don't have the time to look perfect," she says. "I love the fact that I can throw on our cute running shirt, some running capris, and my favorite running shoes and feel better knowing I'm put together."

Swirlgear is designed for women's everyday lives as well as their workouts. "It's cut so they're comfortable, and the coverage is enough so they can take it from work to a run, back to work, pick up the kids, or wherever their day takes them. We all have to juggle many things in our lives and make sacrifices, but at least you can now wear something comfortable and cute while doing it."
The gear is absolutely functional, stylish and gets the job done! We love the quality of the material as well as the way it is cut. Very cute and very comfortable whether running, riding or in the gym! Swirlgear is a perfect choice!

They have a new line coming out by the end of the year with a lot more pieces and colors. We can't wait!

"You log a lot of miles out there...It's time you get noticed."

And we want you to get noticed too!

Swirlgear is offering one of our lucky winners one of their capped sleeved tees.

  3. I'm seeing this stuff EVERYWHERE! I want to get in on the action!! This is actually my first year of racing (but not running), but the autumn race I'm most looking forward to is the Runner's World Half & Festival. I'm doing the Hat Trick (5K & 10K on Saturday, Half Marathon on Sunday) and am SO excited.

  5. I haven't done many races, so I don't have a favorite fall one. I did just get a new 5k PR at a local trail run last weekend, so I guess that's my new favorite fall race.

  10. There's a fantastic bridge run here in NJ/PA that I loved last year (not running this year since I'll be at Wine and Dine). And Philly marathon, although I have yet to actually run it! But I've cheered for the past three years. :)
