Do you ever wonder where people find all these "healthy foods" and at affordable prices? We admit, we have a love affair with Costco. We are in no way receiving anything to write this, we honestly just love Costco so much we had to share. There is not a time we go there when we don't fine something great or score a great deal. Costco has an amazing selection of organic meats, vegetables and fruits! We could go on and on about all our amazing finds, so we thought we would share some of our favorites with you!
Quinoa is one of the most protein-rich foods we can eat. It is a complete protein containing all nine essential amino acids. Quinoa contains almost twice as much fiber as most other grains.
Flax Seed contains all sorts of healthy components, primarily Omega-3 essential fatty acids, "good" fats that have been shown to have heart-healthy effects. Each tablespoon of ground flaxseed contains about 1.8 grams of plant omega-3s.This is great mixed with greek yogurt!
Gluten Free pasta made out of quinoa, talk about the best of both worlds. Get your pasta fix while getting the benefits of quinoa!!
Coconut Oil is a stable oil that doesn’t break down easily at high temperatures like other oils do. It doesn’t go rancid easily and has amazing nutritional properties. It is great for cooking eggs, stir fries, grain free baked goods, and practically any other cooking use.
If you like trail mix, then we highly suggest this yogurt, fruit and nut blend. This one is not available often but be sure to grab some whenever you can.
These chips and dips are so good! Pair the dips up with some of Costco's fruits and vegetables for a healthy and delicious snack.
And if you are going to treat yourself once in a while, we say Pop chips are the way to go! Naturally delicious and half the fat of fried chip.
